Some Lil Maternity Pics

 4 1/2 weeks to go.

I have so many half-written posts I've wanted to share, but my "before baby"
to-do list is getting longer by the second. Goose has been out of town a lot this
month for work (including my bday and our anniversary- booo) and I'll admit,
I am absolutely exhausted. I have reached the end-of-pregnancy-everything hurts-
can't get comfortable stage and am sooooo ready to meet this little dude.

Although, we still haven't done anything with the nursery... and we still don't have a name.

At this point, I just want to get a car seat.
If we have that, at least I know we can get the baby home :)

But anyway, I did want to share some more of our maternity pictures.

We didn't do a ton, but I am so glad we got some cute ones of the boys at this stage :)

I brought a chalkboard so we could get a shot of what the boys
have called the baby for the past few months.

Me and Goosers.

I love the family shots.

Just a couple belly shots :)

I love this one too!

I am trying to smile and be serious (sooo difficult)
and goose definitely forgot to take his sun glasses
out of his pocket, but look how cute the boys are chatting!

Love, love, love.

Thanks again Cheryl!

A Lil Baby Bumpage: 32 Weeks

I am now 32 weeks... and feeling like 45.

The Mama: Serious heartburn- Pepcid has been helping.
Backache from being ginormous.

The Baby: No, we still do not have a name
It would be really nice if we could decide on
something so I could make some cute nursery decor.

Goose really wants to use his family name of Ray for the
middle name, so any suggestions for first names that
sound good with that??

Other than being nameless, he is strong and still super active.
He has started getting hiccups multiple times a day. Love it :)

The Big Brothers: Ty and Nolan seem pretty excited about
meeting their little bro, Reese- notsomuch. :)

The Room: Nursery is still blank... ahhhhhhhh. I have to get going in there!!

I did, at least, get our leftover baby clothes organized.
There wasn't a lot that made it through all three
of the boys in good shape.

We ended up having about 2 drawers of 0-12 month
clothes, but a lot of them are not the right season, so we have
some shopping to do for sure.

We gave away or sold pretty much everything
baby-related after our last pregnancy, so I am going
to hit up some consignment sales/shops for bigger
 items like a stroller/car seat/exersaucer etc.

I found this website  http://www.storkbrokers.com/
which is an online consignment shop where you
can buy and sell all sorts of kid stuff. I've found
some good deals but haven't bought anything yet.

Thanks to some awesome friends,
we are set for awhile with diapers and bigger clothes.

And we are just getting the rest of the stuff here
and there- probably won't buy anything brand new
(except stuff like bottles and pacifiers).

The 4th pregnancy is totally different than the first :)

We did some maternity pics last week which I
am excited about. I usually do not want
to be anywhere in front of a camera while
pregnant, but I wanted a few with the
boys so I could look back at when it was just
the 3 of them. Cheryl McCullough took the pics-
she did a fantastic job! (If you are in the
Gwinnett/Walton area, check out her

Here are a few of the sneak peeks:

(yes, reese still calls him Skip ;)

I'll share more when I get them later this week. :)

SUYL: Kids Bathroom- Before and Afters

Kelly over at Kelly's Korner is still doing her
home tour series each Friday.

This week is bathrooms.

We have two. The master still needs some
work, but the boys/guest bathroom just got
redone thanks to some inspiration
off the internet.

Before it was a simple light blue with a
few pictures of the twins when they were babies.

After looking online for some inspiration,
 I pinned this picture:

Source: digsdigs.com via Lily on Pinterest

I loved the stripes and bright colors.

So we bought an awesome colorful map
shower curtain on Ebay, then we took
the colors from the map and used
                                             those for our stripes.

I found some travel themed books and old
                                         globe at a thrift store,
                                     and coordinating hand towels at
                                      Walmart for the shelf decor.

I found three colorful state silhouettes
(Georgia, Iowa, and Michigan for where us and
our parents were born)  and printed some
"world" themed poems for the wall.

And I love the hardware on the vanity. :)

The shower curtain is definitely the best part!
 These little dudes love geography.

They ask all about the different states, countries,
and continents. It's definitely helped with the
 homeschooling this year.

Happy Friday y'all :)

Dear Evie: Sometimes I Wonder...

Dear Evie,

I have been thinking of you a lot lately.

This pregnancy has been an emotional roller-coaster
for your mama, and as I watch my belly growing and
we are preparing to meet your little brother,

I sometimes wonder if we would be
welcoming another life into our world if you
were here instead of Heaven.

As I see your big brothers getting so big,
and I hear the often ridiculous and
fascinating conversations between brothers,

I think of you,

wondering if you would sound like mommy did
when she was a toddler, always high-pitched and loud.
I wonder how your brothers would react to
a bossy-pants little sister ordering them around.

When they are all singing (completely off-key)
in the back seat or break-dancing around the living room,

I wonder what kind of
music you would like...

Would you make-up dances like mommy and Aunt Aly did?

Would you oooh and ahhh at Daddy
when he plays the drums?

And when I hear these precious voices reading
and exploring a whole new world...

I wonder what book would be your favorite,

and I sometimes picture you on Daddy's lap,
listening and giggling at the best parts.

As I watch these three enjoying the
summer, swimming and splashing
every chance they get...

I think of you.

Not a long dramatic scene,
just a small flash of what life might be like with you here:

a little 2 1/2 year old waddling around
with bright blond pig tails and
chubby legs sticking out of a polka dotted swimsuit.

And watching the boys with your daddy,
always punching and wrestling and wild...

I think of you

and wonder how he would have handled tea
parties and tutus :)

And when I look into these big, innocent eyes,
always curious and full of life....

I think of you... and wonder what you're
eyes have seen:

Do you worship with angels?

Have you talked to Jesus, asked Him all
the questions I would love to have answers to?

Have you met King David, Moses, Mary and Martha?

Do you know how much you are still loved
and thought about by all of us?

Oh Evie, how I miss you today,
and although I wonder sometimes what might
have been... I know each moment, the good and the bad,
the joy and the heartache, is all part of something bigger...
a story that is still being written,
and one that you my sweet girl,
will forever be a part of.

I love you with my whole heart,

 Mama
